Biography

Never one to conform, Doug Sweeney is a progressive open format DJ who specializes in bringing an out-of-this-world dance experience to exotic ambiances. He’s a rare breed who has been influenced by dance music going all the way back to disco, funk and soul while always on the search for what is new and trending.

He started out creating his underground events in Hartford, CT - then moving Denver, Colorado to take his game to the next level. There - Doug carved himself out to be a niche event DJ playing a wide range of electronic music from soulful melodic deep house at bars & clubs to tribal bass at ecstatic dance gatherings. Doug has gone on to be booked to support acts like The Human Experience & most recently played at Art Basel in Miami.

A gem created when two star crossed lovers - an American & Puerto Ricanmet on the discoteca in Puerto Rico in the late 70’s. Doug’s graceful magnetic flow makes him more than a DJ… He’s a natural born unifier… drawing everyone to him from the decks with sound and movement.
