Raiinmaker - A Create-To-Earn Crypto Application

Shogun War - NFT Game Project - www.shogun.lol

Overview: Collaborating closely with the lead game developer of Shogun War, I played a pivotal role in conceptualizing and implementing a groundbreaking NFT land staking system. This innovative feature allows users to stake their NFTs to generate a native ERC20 token called SHO, which can then be traded for cryptocurrency or used to enhance their samurai NFTs, known as "Shogun," within the Shogun War DAPP.

Design Challenges: Navigating the intersection of gaming, NFTs, and decentralized finance (De-Fi), I encountered several key challenges:

  • Visual Cohesion: Maintaining the retro gamer aesthetic of the 64-bit color palette while designing screens for the staking system.

  • User Education: Simplifying the staking process and providing clear, step-by-step instructions for users unfamiliar with NFT staking.

  • Complexity Management: Managing the nuances and complexities of NFT staking within a user base largely new to the concept.

Design Solutions: Employing a blend of creativity and strategic thinking, I crafted intuitive and visually immersive screens that seamlessly integrated with the retro gaming theme. Through user-centric design principles, I ensured that the staking process was not only easy to understand but also enjoyable to navigate, enhancing user engagement and retention.

Impact and Reflection: While not the largest project in scale, working on the Shogun War DAPP was an exhilarating journey into the cutting-edge realm of De-Fi NFT gaming. It served as a testament to my passion for pushing boundaries and exploring the forefront of design innovation. Projects like these not only sharpen my skills but also keep me attuned to the evolving landscape of design, empowering me to stay ahead of the curve and contribute meaningfully to the future of UX design.

Conclusion: As I continue my journey in UX design, I remain committed to seeking out challenging and groundbreaking projects that allow me to push the boundaries of creativity and innovation. The Shogun War DAPP exemplifies my dedication to crafting immersive and user-centric experiences that transcend conventional boundaries and pave the way for the future of design in the dynamic world of NFT gaming and De-Fi.
